Hi Shads, yes, confirm with ur broker though. usually they do not cover up the trade for short selling. if thats not the case then stock will be sent to auction on the 3rd day and if the price of the stock goes down then you could be in profits else a loss. also check if they charge any penalty. usually some brokers charge 20% of the total amt.

I holding Renuka Sugar 50 shares @240/- from Janauary onwards. Afterthat Companay announces Bonus 1:1. in AGM.When i have receive bonus shares from it.
Suppose today i do intraday in that Scrip is it intraday or not and will it affect bonus issue .

If you forget to cover your short on margin then on T+3 , it would be auctioned . On T, the short amount would be deucdeted and added and on T+1 a penalty would be levied which is refunded on t+3 after auction. after T+3 auction your a/c would be settled.
This is what happened with me when i had forgot to cover shorts in sterlite, my broker is reliagare

Hi CB, Ok. Hope that this will go very high (Blue Star Info) and can even cross 200 in a month :)
I know that is too much but I wish it happens...
Meanwhile, £££s rates against Rs. is now down and it is hardly 68 which is not so good thing for me.. As per my analysis and previous charts, it will go up again in June-July...
