Hi CB... GA... I'm opening an account with Ventura as ICICI is killing me on brokerage... they have informed me that they will give me 4 times exposure i.e. if I keep 1 lac with them I can trade up to 4 lacs... Does this apply for the derivatives segment also (Futures) or only for Cash? If yes then if 1 lot of Nifty futures costs approx 30000/- to buy/sell it means that I would only need 7500/- right... Please confirm??

Hi Deepak Bedi, GA, in some cases its done only for Futures, in some only Cash, Yes, you purchase price shall be around 7500 in the margin is allowed upto 4x in Futures, would be better to confirm with them
