Zerodha is best for that and I never trade in cash/equity and hardly does in futures but concentrates most of the time in nifty options. Don't consider other negative reviews/opinions/views. Me along with my friends were very much satisfied with Zerodha :)

Hi revan, Very good I really appreciate you, it is always better to learn...never trade in futures and options.. buy small quantities of good stocks in cash and hold... this way u can make good decent money without any stress...Futures and Options looks very attractive but if u make a single mistake it will wipe out your entire capital... U can always ask whatever doubt u have...

Y'r always most welcome and It's my pleasure...:) One thing more I wanna tell u, As u invest in huge amount, why don't u start buying equity slowly in every dip by choosing some good A-group scripts and this will help u from not missing this big bull-run. I guess this month is good opportunity to people who invests for short/medium term.
Dec is the only month which is marked negative as FIIs sells usually in that particular month but I guess it's going to be different this time as all the global markets are rallying after 2-3 years and I expects it to continue further....
Investors are about to gain decent profits this time in this rally and am suggesting the same thing to my friends too, to not miss this chance, hence, it's best to start buying slowly in every dip only in equity/cash but not in F&O [for that we need to conform the trend before proceeding]. Just sharing my opinion/views. That's it!! Good luck to u.....:)

Am not holding calls but behalf of my dad, I bought some long positions in ICICI and BHEL for Short-term period. Overall holding in big quantity in puts along with my breath. Let's see, how nifty reacts.

Hi SaiPalanivel, Good evening Sai :) Yes, if nifty crosses 5735, then the trend reverses but not now. Next week is going to be very important for markets. Am expecting nifty to break 5650/5600 but not sure when, need to wait and see for some more time. U keep strict SL of 5735 for puts and if breaches, go long or by calls above it. Till then no need to worry. Let's hope for the best :)

Den network is good for short-term period and it's better to buy it next round in dips as it's in over-bought zone. It has good support @ 175/173, if breaks, it may fall further.
Karnataka Bank is in over-bought zone since a while and it rallied enough and it's quite risky to enter in these levels, get in on next round after correction. It has strong support @129/126, if breaks, it may fall further.. It's good bet for short-term period but enter in dips.
Union bank has good support @ 198/192, keep this as a SL for longs. If breaks 223, it may rise further to higher levels. It's good bet for short-term period.
No idea abt Tribhuvandas bhimji.
M&M is good for medium-term investment. It has support @873/850. It's in up-trend and no idea how long it lasts... Buy in dips.

But Support seems to be at 5630 below that support is at 5572 lower support @ 5525

As I am holding heavy short positions in Nifty, almost stumped by the gap up happened today morning. Exited all shorts @ opening with huge loss. Really painful.

I wonder how that support(5630) which stood for almost 3-4 weeks broken considerably on TUE and how Nifty went above that (5630 resistance then) in just 2 days!!!
I really expected 5550 at least to be touched before Nifty try bounce back.

No idea how this happened and made all my decision go wrong. I need your expert advice to recover some money, good news is I am not in any position now.

Prices weakened as the U.S. government temporarily waived Jones Act restrictions on tankers carrying fuel from the Gulf Coast refining hub to the hard-hit Northeast, increasing the available fleet of ships to make the journey.

Millions still without power in NY, NJ after Sandy::

More than 1.2 million homes and businesses in New York and 1.5 million in New Jersey were still without power on Friday, four days after Hurricane Sandy slammed into the U.S. East Coast, the states' power companies said.
Most utility companies in the two states said it could take a week or longer to restore power to all customers in the wake of Sandy, the worst natural disaster to strike their customers. Across the U.S. Northeast power companies have restored electricity to more than half of the 8.48 million customers left without service, leaving nearly 3.6 million without service in 11 states Friday morning, federal data showed.

It has good support @872, if breaks it may fall further, buy it in any possible dip for a target of 1050/1100 in 1-1.5 months time period. Right now it's trading at highs, it's a bit risk to enter at current levels and if u wish to but it, keep stop-loss of 870, next very strong support comes @ 822. Good luck and GN :)

Regardless of the results of Tuesday's U.S. presidential election, the next four years will be a tough act to follow from Wall Street's vantage point.
The benchmark Standard & Poor's 500 Index .SPX.INX has rallied 66 percent since President Barack Obama took office - one of the most impressive runs ever for stocks under a single president. Admittedly, the timing of his inauguration - just before the market hit a nadir in March 2009 - is part of the reason.
"The market might like the fact of an Obama win since it would mean less uncertainty," said Ryan Detrick, senior technical strategist at Schaeffer's Investment Research
"I think the market has priced in an Obama victory, but no matter what, any knee-jerk reaction after the election will unwind over the next few days," said Joseph Tanious, a global market strategist at J.P. Morgan Funds, in New York.
"The fiscal cliff is also on everyone's mind, but that will really take hold after the election, since the winner could indicate what happens."
The end result in both an Obama or a Romney presidency would be a deal. But the status quo would probably mean a more protracted solution and market volatility.
