Imagine a scenario : Say, I hold 1000 no.of Nifty 5200 CE till feb expiry, 23feb,thrsday.
and would like to carry to next month,
1. should i do this "CARRY" business on or before 23feb ?
or am i given time(couple of days) after expiry to do this ?
2. 3%(plz correct me) carrying charge also applies, but 3% of LTP on 23feb or 24feb friday ?

Hi sadiq, if you plan to carry it, you need to do it on or before the expiry date (its done by seling your current contract and entering the same onefor the next month) (this is only possible for futures), you cannot rollover options
