Finantech- the ugly stock of the day .. i was thanking God every minute with every fall how luckily to clear debits I had squared it off just a couple of days back @ 580.........yet with each fall i was beginning to wonder whether to buy, then resisted till the last moment, but almost the entire day (right from preopen) i was glued to this stock......and now when i should be attending to other chores, still reading about it, the various blogs, so called clarifications and what not......just not able to digest these kinds of crashes even theoretically.........

coming to the issue CB, at preopen CB, this was locked at 10pc down circuit... i initially thought it could be one of those anomalies of preopen rates.....then at actual open it was the same for a second, then went on to 15pc , then paused at 20pc for a fraction of second, then moved on further and then everyone knows the story.............

just now I was looking at the nseindia site for the stock, and am shocked to see that it mentions upper brice band as 593.80 which is 10pc...and lower price band as 162 which is 70%............how are these things possible.........was the lower price band changed immediately after market open to allow the free fall?

You and your forum is one great strength to all of us to discuss and learn, hence writing such a long note....and if you/anyone here can tell how these things happen or how we the members of this forum can do something to take up this matter with whomever we have to in order to protect the interests and money of innocent traders and investors.............we must do something............this is just height of atrocious behaviour by SEBI when they say they will probe into the matter after the share has fallen 65%....I bet the best(read worst) they will do in probing is the put a 5% cirucit now when most likely the share is poised for a recovery after the clarifications
