Wall street flat after speech from Obama
Obama says ” Gov’t working to ease pain of joblessness”
“I will not rest until all Americans who want work can,”he said.
Jobless data declared today is highest in 26 years (since 1983). Unemployment rate could be much higher by next year since employers still remain reluctant to hire people.
Obama said his economic team is working hard and will get the economy moving soon. “I promise I won’t rest until America is prosperous once again,” is what he said.
