Hi sir,
Can u please explain clearly about this line.
"Try to predict the general direction of a stock price but do not try to pick tips and bottoms".

Hi pavan, it means you can predict a direction of a stock, it may be in a downtrend or an uptrend (technical analysis) but it is never sure to say if a stock has reached its bottom (its currently at is lowest price and won’t fall more) or that its moved up a lot now and wont go up further..
