Hi DJ, Any high beta scrip can be a positive high beta scrip or a negative high beta scrip. A scrip with a beta of +3 (high beta) will move up 9% when the market moves up by 3% or will give a negative return of -9% when the market goes down by 3%.
But if the beta of a stock is -3 (also high beta), then it will give -9% return when market moves up by 3% or will give a return of 9% when market falls by 3%.
Therefore, if you consider beta, first of all find out whether that scrip has a positive high beta or a negative high beta. Then act accordingly.
But, personally, I would advice you to watch technical levels of the stock as you mainly trade in stock futures.

Hi DJ, Can be a possibility, but too early to predict. As of now, Titan's trading range is between 170 to 180. JP has res at 55.50 and then at 56. Supp at 52. First of all, lets see how expiry goes :)

Hi vipul, Technical analysis will be of immense help to analyse stocks for intraday trading. Grab some ebooks on technical analysis. CB, Kartik will give you links of technical analysis books and also a book on options. Its a science as well as an art, in the sense that chart patterns have to be analysed.

Dear CB,
In next 2-3 months we are expecting the Interest rate turn around to happen.
