Hi K K, indian mutual funds are useless, better to buy niftybees everymonth as a sip.
i bought mutual funds at 8000 sensex ,and sold at 20000 sensex.got 40 % appreciation.had u bought niftybees wud have got 150 % appreciation.

Hi Robotguy, sometimes entring nifty bees would work while a MF won't and vice-versa, since it has only be the large-caps rallying over the past 1 year, there wouldn't have been much gain in Mid-caps, causing most of the Mf's to give less returns when compared with Nifty. In either cases, its always safe to invest in fundamentally strong bets for long term
