MOIL to replace Koutons in BSE 500

The Bombay Stock Exchange said on Monday it has added MOIL Ltd and Jubilant Lifesciences to the BSE-500 index while removing Gati Ltd and Koutons.

It has removed 12 companies from the BSE Mid-Cap index and added 22 companies to it including SKS Microfinance, A2Z Maintenance and ABG Shipyard.

As on January 3, 283 scrips are under BSE mid-cap index, according to data on the exchange website.

These changes are effective from January 10, it said in a press release, adding, these changes are made on the basis of guidelines governing inclusion and exclusion of scrips from BSE indices.
