Container Corporation of India Ltd has announced the Unaudited financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2008. The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 2062.950 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 1929.141 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2007. Total Income has increased from Rs 8886.762 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 to Rs 8964.70 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2008.

The stock closed the day at Rs.661.25, down by Rs.12.05 or 1.79%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.680 and low of Rs.655.60.

The total traded quantity was 424 compared to 2 week average of 5745.
