Uttam Galva Steels hikes steel prices

Uttam Galva Steels Limited, the country’s leading steel exporter, has announced that it has increased the prices of all its Cold Rolled products by Rs 2000/- per tonne with immediate effect.The company has also hiked the prices of all its galvanized products by Rs 1000/- per tonne with effect from January 17, 2008.

The price hike has been attributed to the rise in raw material prices and strong demand fundamentals.
