M&M posts 34% rise in tractor exports in January

Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment sector, a part of the US $6 billion Mahindra Group with a growing global presence, saw a significant 34% rise in tractor exports. Exports for the month of January F08 stood at 879 as against 654 in the corresponding period last year. The domestic sales volume for the month stood at 7174, against 8014 in the corresponding period last year.
The company posted cumulative (April – January) sales volumes of 83785 tractors in F08 including exports as against 87721 in F07 in the same period last year.
