GE Hitachi ties up with Nuclear Power Corp, BHEL
GE Hitachi along with Nuclear Power Corp. and BHEL will plan for manufacturing and construction management of a potential multiple-unit ABWR nuclear power station
GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy is a joint venture between General Electric Co. (GE) and Hitachi Ltd.
GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy on Monday said that it has signed initial pacts with public sector Nuclear Power Corp. of India and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) to build an advanced boiling water reactor power station in India.
Under the agreement, GE Hitachi along with Nuclear Power Corp. and BHEL will plan for manufacturing and construction management of a potential multiple-unit ABWR nuclear power station, it said in a statement.
