1] Corporation Bank launched CorpCompassion – A Feature Rich Savings Bank Account today. The product was formally launched by Shri M Narendra, Chief General Manager of the Bank. Shri A Mohan Rao, General Manager addressed the Press. Shri M P Kunju, General Manager, Retail Banking was present on the occasion.

2] Corporation Bank will donate Rupees Ten for the underprivileged for every account opened under ‘CorpCompassion’. The Campaign will be for 100 days starting from 1st July 2008. The Bank has set a target of acquiring one million new customers during the campaign period.

3] The Bank has launched similar campaign last year for a period of 75 days. The response was overwhelming. A record number of 3.60 lac of new accounts were opened during the period. As announced, the Bank had donated the CorpCompassion amount to 50 charitable institutions across the country.

4] CorpCompassion – A Feature Rich Savings Bank Account will have many tech savvy features, adding to customer convenience, apart from Compassion. These feature are – Any Branch Banking, SMS Banking, Mobile Banking, Funds Transfer through ATM, Internet Banking, Multi-city Cheque Facility, RTGS /NEFT Facility, LIC Premium Payment through Mobile /ATMs, Utility Bill Payment, Visa Money Transfer, Mobile Recharge, Auto Sweep Facility, Direct Tax Collections.

5] Corporation Bank had recently launched the National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) through ATMs. Corporation Bank is the first Public Sector Bank to launch this unique facility through delivery Channels- ATMs. The Bank has launched this unique facility for catering to the personal needs of individual debit cardholders specially the Savings Bank Customers.

6] During the first quarter of the year, the Bank has opened 48 new outlets comprising of 20 branches & 28 ATMs.
