Collins Stewart Inga, a joint venture between London-based leading global financial services group Collin Stewart and domestic boutique investment bank, Inga Advisors Pvt Ltd., has successfully completed the mandate of the public issue of 3.085 million equity shares of Cords Cable Industries Limited, amidst great volatility in the Indian equity markets

The shares were listed on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 on the Indian bourses, the National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange. As against an issue price of Rs 135 per share, the shares were listed at Rs 143 on the National Stock Exchange and at Rs 138 on the Bombay Stock Exchange. The scrip closed the first day’s trading at Rs 143 on the National Stock Exchange and Rs 140 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

“We are impressed by the maiden listing of the company in a volatile market where the shares of some other companies listed recently, went below of their offer price,” said Mr G. S.
