With the Oscar fervor rising among movie-enthusiasts, Cinemax has assembled a package of award winning films for all Hollywood fans in the city! The leading multiplex chain will screen three critically acclaimed movies – Crash (2006); the touching flick on Racial and Social tension, the unforgettable fight to victory in Million Dollar Baby (2005) and the fast paced crime thriller sensation – The Departed (2007), especially for their patrons. Movie-lovers can now grab a chance to be a part of the spreading Oscar fever by catching these award winning flicks on the big screen during the three day Oscar Film Festival from 8-10 February 2008 at the Cinemax properties.

The festival, aptly titled “Cinemax Oscar Fest”, is one of Cinemax’s ongoing endeavors to bring out the best in entertainment and movies, the initiative being another step in this direction. The films will be screened at three of the Cinemax properties in Versova, Vashi and Thane at 8pm on all the three days. Keeping in tune with the taste and preferences of their loyal patrons, Cinemax has selected these three special movies as each one is an award winning flick that excels in terms of story, direction, screenplay, acting and much more. All are brilliant movies in their own right and each has a special story to tell.
