CEAT joins with UNICEF to promote “UP on the move”

CEAT India Ltd celebrated its 50 glorious years of success on Indian and UP roads by joining hands with UNICEF, the first ever such initiative by any company in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

The alliance seeks to get children involved in creating a basket of ideas, assimilate from the young minds and leaders of tomorrow on their vision that they have for the state of Uttar Pradesh.CEAT Tyres in association with UNICEF launched a Road Show which will travel across UP and explain the benefits of CEAT Tyres which include 10.00:20 RD Super 18 Ply, HCL Super HL, HT Super and FM Super. The Roadshow will also serve as a platform for around 17000 children across UP to ideate and share their aspirations with the CEAT and UNICEF officials. All the ideas and views from the “CEAT Uttar Pradesh On The Move” Roadshow will be uploaded on a daily basis on an exclusive website being created by UNICEF.

The Reports will be shared with the President of India, Chief Minister – Uttar Pradesh and Chairperson of the Commission for Protection of Rights of Children.

Speaking on the occasion Mr Shujaul Rehman – GM Sales CEAT commented : “The shift to a new logo and a new look recently symbolizes the strategic transformation under way at CEAT. At this occasion CEAT Tyres also launched a special UP scheme of giving away a Silver coin with purchase of 2 HT Super Tyres.

Also speaking at the occasion Mr Nimal, Head UNICEF said “It’s a great honour to be associated with a responsible company like CEAT who have continuously supported such endeavours. We assure the people of UP that CEAT and UNICEF will continue to support activities which will enhance the childrens leadership and their meaningful involvement in creating a peaceful and prosperous UP.
