Axis Bank offers Zero Balance Account for Mumbaikars

As a tribute to the spirit of Mumbaikars, who are known to exhibit a great deal of resilience, fortitude, courage and patience to the demands of the city, Axis Bank has launched its Zero Balance account with a specially designed instant welcome kit. The special welcome kit for the account would include a Non-personalised Master Card with a withdrawal limit of Rs. 20,000, a 10 leaf Non-personalised Cheque Book with an at-par limit of Rs. 50,000 and the usual iconnect, Debit card and Telebanking pin codes.

To apply for this account, customers need to submit any two of these additional documents –

* Latest salary slip with minimum net salary of Rs. 20,000
* Frequent Flyer Card (Any Airlines)
* Latest Post paid Mobile Bill connection with a payment of Rs. 1,000 and above
* Customer loyalty card of Shoppers Stop, Globus, Westside and Pantaloon (Minimum of Silver Card)
* Recent Proof of Travel Abroad – A maximum of one year – Visa Copy to be furnished as a part of the documentation process
* Proof of ownership of a four-wheeler.
