For the third quarter ended 31st December, 2007, Ajanta Pharma’s Sales increased by 22% to Rs.71.86 crores (Rs.59.06 crores) and Net Profit increased by 49% to Rs.3.94 crores (Rs.2.65 crores).
For the nine months ended 31st December, 2007, the Company’s Sales increased by 24% to Rs.203.17 crores (Rs.164.02 crores) while Net Profit increased by 49% to Rs.9.04 crores (Rs.6.09 crores).
During the quarter, Ajanta Pharma was conferred with “Quality Excellence Award 2007 – Silver” for formulation units with annual turnover exceeding Rs.100 crores by the Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association for its Aurangabad facility.
