NSE/BSE to start trading from 9.00am from 4th Jan

Based on the market feedback, both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) have decided to postpone the implementation of new markets timings by more than a fortnight.

According to a release issued by NSE, it has been jointly decided by NSE & BSE that the revision of market open timing to 9 am shall be effective from January 4, 2010. In the interim, the current market open timing of 9.55 am shall
