Markets to remain open on Akshaya Tritiya, this Sunday

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has announced Live Trading Session this Sunday, May 16, 2010, on auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya.

As per the BSE release, In continuation to our Notice No. 20100513-3 on the captioned subject, we are pleased to announce that in response to market feedback, the special trading session timings are being extended from 9 am to 3:30 pm

In other words, markets will be open as normal this Sunday.
