FIIs net sellers of Rs 564cr in cash mkt on 12-Jan-2009

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 563.57 crore (provisional) today, according to data released by BSE.While FIIs made gross purchases of Rs 1,770.13 crore, gross sales totalled Rs 2,333.70 crore. Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) were net buyers of Rs 217.83 crore today. While DIIs made gross purchases of Rs 1,168.09 crore, gross sales totalled Rs 950.26 crore.

FIIs were net sellers of Rs 177.90 crore on Friday, January 9, according to data released by Sebi today. While FIIs made gross purchases of Rs 2,815.30 crore, gross sales totalled Rs 2,993.20 crore.

Mutual funds (MFs) were net sellers of Rs 349.50 crore on Friday. MFs made purchases of Rs 540.10 crore and sales of Rs 889.60 crore.
