FIIs net sellers of Rs 149cr in cash mkt on 20th March’09

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 149.18 crore (provisional) today, according to data released by BSE.While FIIs made gross purchases of Rs 1,108.73 crore, gross sales totalled Rs 1,257.91 crore.

Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) were net sellers of Rs 94.03 crore today. While DIIs made gross purchases of Rs 600.90 crore, gross sales totalled Rs 694.93 crore.

FIIs were net buyers of Rs 157.70 crore on Thursday, March 19, according to data released by Sebi today. While FIIs made gross purchases of Rs 1,429.80 crore, gross sales totalled Rs 1,272.10 crore.

Mutual funds (MFs) were net sellers of Rs 45 crore on Thursday. MFs made purchases of Rs 352.40 crore and sales of Rs 397.40 crore.
