FII net sell at Rs 1,111cr, DII net sell at Rs 505cr on 7-Jan-09

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 1,111.25 crore (provisional) today, according to data released by BSE.While FIIs made gross purchases of Rs 2,496.52 crore, gross sales totalled Rs 3,607.77 crore. Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) were net sellers of Rs 505.49 crore today. While DIIs made gross purchases of Rs 1,103.47 crore, gross sales totalled Rs 1,608.96 crore.

FIIs were net buyers of Rs 444.80 crore on Tuesday, January 6, according to data released by Sebi today. While FIIs made gross purchases of Rs 2,389.90 crore, gross sales totalled Rs 1,945.10 crore.

Mutual funds (MFs) were net sellers of Rs 49.70 crore on Tuesday. MFs made purchases of Rs 541.80 crore and sales of Rs 591.50 crore.
