hdil lot quantity for stock option is 774 for single lot. If i buy a strike price 300 stock option the premium is 40 . I pay 40*774+brokerage=30960
suppose if i try to exercise this call option of hdil at closing of 350 in the spot market then
1)do i need to pay while exercising 774*300=232200
2)or as i had paid the option premium I can exercise it without paying 232200 so what i will get is (350-300)*774-(premium paid) - brokerage i.e around =38700-30960=7740. As the premium of the stock option has reduced

I dont exercise the call option of stocks often. i will go for this only if i dont find a buyer available for the option which i have bought and if options premium has reduced . so for exercising at any point during expiry or in the middle i dont need to pay the amount

i.e strike price * lot quantity i.e in case of hdil 300*774
I only need to pay lot quantity *option premium 774* 40

hello cb , good evening ... Howz life goin on ?? After a doji formation on nifty we have seen nifty to close a bit upside .. What do u see for tommorows market .. Will it open gap up or flat ... ?? Even nifty closed with premium .. Dow jones was +ve on friday till 10:00 pm and suddenly it fell down ... Any bad news in it ?? What will be effect on our market ??
I think it to be +ve looking at the RSI , nifty premium and Doji formation..... I need ur view am i right or wrong, what do u feel for asian market tommorow ??
