Intraday calls for 25-08-10

Posted on: August 25th, 2010 at 8:21 am

Markets likely to open slightly lower. Support for nifty is at 5500 and resistance at 5570.

If markets show recovery later during the day, buy Lanco Infra above 70.

Hi cb gm...in rollover does the money actually get deducted from the account if we exit ...i mean like when u hold a lot there is a every day credit and debit which is virtual and not actual...but in case of rollover i have to first exit it ..i.e. sell it at whatever price will be tday and if there is a loss then this will actually be deducted from my account..even if i buy the next month series..? is it so?
    pls explain...

Hi prateek, roll over as usually. would be difficult to catch day's high and low

Hi aMAR, yes, its facing strong resistance in the 325-335 zone. may remain a bit flat today

Hi CB, Someone told me about shorting nifty puts on expiry day. Since the put will be zero at the end of day, I will benefit from the amount which I shorted (like short 5400 put @ 10). Is it true or just the broker earning brokerage?

    Hi CB, Good Morning,

    1. Looking at US and Asian Market.. what can u say for our market ?? Do u think w'll remain positive or may see U turn ??

    2. how and where can i know which shares have been falling heavily in last half hour ??

Hi aMAR, yes, but that is the case with puts which around 5200-5300 which are already near 2-5rs. 5400 put can be short only if markets continue to remain strong after opening.
