Hi Kartik, Sir can we open the demat + Trading account on the name of partnership firm ?? I have asked to religare and corporation bank they are denied. they are saying that Trading account will be on the name of partnership firm but demat account can not be open on firm name. i have asked to Chirag sir also on call..

Hi Tejas, no, a demant account can only be opened on a individuals name, if you wish to start a brokerage firm (for membership at the National Stock Exchange, a minimum paid up equity capital of Rs.30 lakhs is required for corporates) or you can start a franchisee at low cost of some reputed brokers
