Idea Cellular Q1 net at Rs 309.21 cr

Idea Cellular Ltd has announced the following unaudited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2009: The company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 309.21 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009 as compared to Rs 269.53 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008. Total Income has increased from Rs 2177.79 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 to Rs 2818.80 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009.

The consolidated results are as follows

The group has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 297.06 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009 as compared to Rs 263.09 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008. Total Income has increased from Rs 2178.07 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 to Rs 2975.90 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009.
