Hi rahul, In my initial trading with options I lost around 20K and never touched them after knowing their threat to base capital itself.
My humble suggestion is to stay away from derivatives. And put most of your money in long term investing.

Hi shrikanth, you said it right. you can add these points also- should not invest all the money in single stock and never trade with high quantity in futures in falling market. use futures,options only if trend is conformed

Hi Kartik, I don't know wht happned but Sun Pharma closed in deep red at 746+ and mt 760 CE is jst Rs. 9 now :( Some news on merger with taro pharma termination. But people are saying it is good actually. Shud I continue to hold for 800+ target? Also, Bank Nifty is also badly down. I can hold that till expiry. Hold? And also avrg one lot more?
